Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FlowLight collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use FlowLight.

Effective date: September 17, 2026

1. Privacy at a Glance

FlowLight is built around real moments and places. We collect information needed to create your account, operate the service, help you discover moments around you, and provide the features you choose to use.

We aim to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for FlowLight to work and to explain our data practices in clear, understandable language.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use FlowLight, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, username, password-related authentication information, profile photo, and other profile information you choose to provide.
  • Content you create or share, including photos, videos, captions, and other information associated with a moment.
  • Location information when you choose to allow FlowLight to access location or when location information is associated with a moment you share.
  • Information about when a moment was captured or shared.
  • Device and technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, such as device type, operating system, application version, and technical identifiers.
  • Information about how you interact with FlowLight, such as pages or features used and technical events associated with the service.

3. How We Use Information

We use information we collect for purposes such as:

  • protecting the security and integrity of FlowLight;
  • responding to support requests and communicating with you about the service;
  • understanding how FlowLight is used and improving its features and reliability; and
  • complying with applicable laws and responding to valid legal requests.

4. Location Information

Location is an important part of FlowLight because the service helps people discover what is happening around them. Depending on the feature and permissions you choose, FlowLight may use location information to determine nearby moments or associate a moment with a place.

You control whether FlowLight can access your device location through the permissions provided by your device. FlowLight may also provide controls that determine how location associated with an individual moment is displayed to other people.

Because location can reveal information about where you live, work, travel, or spend time, consider the location visibility of a moment before sharing it.

5. Moments and Public Content

FlowLight is a social platform. When you choose to make a moment public, the photo, video, caption, place information, and other information associated with that moment may be visible to other FlowLight users.

Public content may be displayed in feeds, discovery experiences, place-based experiences, profiles, or other parts of FlowLight where public moments are supported.

Removing content from FlowLight may not remove copies that other people have already saved, captured, or shared outside the service.
